SPRING/SUMMER SEASON
Spring/Summer Season begins March 2022 and ends June/July 2022.
SELECT TEAMS
Select teams will compete in 6-8 tournaments in the Central Texas area.
Teams will practice twice a week.

Season starts in March and goes through the end of June
REGIONAL TEAMS
Regional teams will compete in 8-9 highly competitive regional tournaments throughout Texas, as well as NCAA open period events.
Teams will practice twice a week.

NATIONAL TEAMS
National teams will compete in 9-10 highly competitive tournaments, both in and out of state. Tournaments will include state and regional championships, as well as NCAA open period events.

If you plan to be a part of our program, please prepare to attend the Spring/Summer Tryout.
THE WARRIOR WAY
Our main objective is to put players in situations that closely mimic the game demands and challenge them to make those decisions. Learn through trial and error, evaluate mistakes and successes along the way. Most importantly, have fun doing it.

SHOOTING
Catch and Shoot/Shooting off the dribble/attacking out of triple threat. Fundamental breakdown of proper shooting technique. Live drills will force athletes to play and shoot at game pace. Advanced triple threat moves to create space to attack the basket.

2 MAN x 3 MAN GAME
Breakdown strategies in 2 man game, 3 man game. Give and go, pick and roll, pick n slip, hand off, back cuts will all be drilled. Live drills included.

BALL HANDLING & DRIBBLING
Fundamental and advanced drills to improve confidence and manipulation of defenders when a player has the ball. Break down drills and live play will be involved.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
TWE Basketball x The Durable Athlete have joined forces to develop the complete player. Explosive movement, linear speed, lateral quickness. Acceleration and deceleration for efficiency of movement and injury prevention. Vertical jump training and core strengthening.

DEFENSE
Players will learn proper defensive stance and positioning, on-the-ball and off-the-ball, defensive rebounding, closeout fundamentals. Explosive on-the-ball individual concepts to contain the ball and team half-court/ full-court defense.

LEADERSHIP
Pregame rituals, goal setting and achieving, managing conflict and drama. Athletes will learn to take control of individual and team emotional intelligence in chaotic situations.

POST PLAY
Fundamental and advanced breakdown of offensive post play on the blocks and at the high post. Offensive rebounding is included. These are Advanced moves of varying types of attacks to the rim in an offensive rebounding scenario.

STRATEGY, DECISON MAKING & VIDEO
We will study basketball strategy using whiteboard and Zoom film session breakdown. The players will increase their basketball IQ and decision-making on the court.
